Representatives of the Bangka Belitung State Police Task Force Team attended the PPKS National Coordination Meeting at the Sheraton Hotel Jakarta, Tuesday 3 October 2023 which was attended by representatives of the Task Force Team from all universities in Indonesia, consisting of the Chair/Secretary of the Task Force and representatives of student element Task Force members. Also present at the National Coordination Meeting were the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) Nadiem Anwar Makarim, Inspector General (Irjen) of the Ministry of Education and Culture Chatarina Muliana Girsang, and other officials at the Ministry of Education and Culture.
In his statement, the Minister of Education and Culture gave his deepest support and appreciation to the PPKS Task Force Team which played a role in eradicating sexual violence in all universities in Indonesia. The tasks and responsibilities of the Task Force team are quite heavy and not easy, because in handling cases that occur, the Task Force team often has to work extra hard. For this reason, a strong commitment is needed from university leaders and all campus residents so that the goal in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation number 30 of 2021 to create a campus that is safe and free from sexual violence can be realized.
Meanwhile, Chatarina Muliana Girsang as Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture said that the Task Force's efforts to implement PPKS had serious challenges. Therefore, strategies are needed to provide a good perception as a strength to overcome sexual violence. Being a Task Force team is a noble task, but there are many challenges involved in creating a campus that is safe from sexual violence.
This Coordination Meeting involved more than 500 invited participants consisting of the Chair/Secretary of the Task Force and representatives of student element Task Force members at 250 state and private universities. The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic PPKS Task Force Team was represented by Yang Fitri Arriyani, M.T. as chairman of the PPKS Task Force and member of the student element Task Force, namely Selvi Mellani, 5th semester student of the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) study program. The purpose of holding the National Coordination Meeting for the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education is to unite the efforts and cooperation of all universities, the government and related institutions in order to prevent and handle sexual violence in the campus environment so that it is safe and free from sexual violence.

The implementation of the National Coordination Meeting was also filled with questions and answers from several universities to the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and the Inspector General, and ended with a discussion session by the group chairman/secretary of the Task Force and student groups which produced recommendations for the sustainability of PPKS to make it better. This activity was very beneficial for the Task Force team, because they could share experiences in each university and complement each other's existing shortcomings.
