The Long Journey Bears Sweet Fruit, The Final Trial of the Applied Bachelor's Degree is Successfully Passed
Polman Babel - The students of the Bachelor's study program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electronics at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) enthusiastically carried out the final session on Friday (02/08/2024). This event was the culmination of the journey their academics and is an important moment before officially holding a Bachelor's degree.
This final session was attended by 120 students from various departments, each of whom presented the results of their research or final project in front of the examining lecturers consisting of 40 lecturers who were experts in related fields. The trial process started at 08.00 WIB and ended at 15.30, running smoothly and full of enthusiasm.

Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D. expressed his pride in the students. "This final exam not only tests academic knowledge, but also the students' perseverance, creativity and analytical skills. We are very proud of their achievements," he concluded.
"We hope that you will continue to learn and innovate, and stick to the values of integrity and professionalism that have been instilled while at Polman Babel. The world needs leaders who are educated and dedicated like you," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Final Project Commission, Yang Agita Rindri., M.Eng. said the final trial process began with a presentation of the results of research or projects carried out by each student. After the presentation, the examining lecturer provides constructive questions and input, helping students to see from a broader perspective. "The session ended with the announcement of the results which were eagerly awaited by the participants," he added.
"The holding of this final trial shows Polman Babel's commitment to maintaining high academic standards. We are committed to producing graduates who not only have knowledge, but are also able to think critically and creatively," he said.

A student, Faturrahman, shared his experience while attending the final trial. It felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement. "I have worked hard all this time, and to see the results recognized in this court is very satisfying," he said with a smile.
"He also hopes that by the end of this final trial, hopefully we can apply the knowledge we have gained to contribute positively to society and at work," he said.
