The State Polytechnic of Babel Facilitates Graduates with Campus Hiring with Two Major Companies
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) once again facilitated job opportunities for its graduates through a Campus Hiring event featuring two major industrial companies, PT Savoria and PT Aneka Kaoline Utama. The event took place in the presentation room and on the second floor of the Joint Lecture Building on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
The event, held exactly one day after Polman Babel's 29th graduation ceremony, served as the campus's effort to bridge graduates with the industrial world, a crucial opportunity for direct recruitment, where companies collaborate with universities to attract new workers.

A total of 71 Polman Babel alumni registered and participated in the PT Savoria selection process, held at the Joint Lecture Building. Meanwhile, 40 other alumni chose to participate in the PT Aneka Kaoline Utama recruitment program. This enthusiasm demonstrates the high level of alumni interest in entering the workforce.
PT Savoria's Human Capital Executive, Cendriana Kusuma, stated that the company oversees several major business units, including Global Dairi Alami, Sumber Kopi Prima, Gonusa, Prima Top Boga, and Savoria Kreasi Rasa. "PT Savoria's presence in Polman, Bangka Belitung, also marks the first step in expanding its workforce recruitment network in Bangka Belitung," she said.

Furthermore, Cendriana stated, "This is my first time visiting the Polman Babel campus."
"When I toured the facilities, I was impressed and optimistic that graduates here possess excellent competencies," she concluded.
She added that the selection process included online and offline tests, as well as interviews. Cendriana hopes that alumni who participate in the selection process will demonstrate their best performance so they can be accepted into the company," she added.

Meanwhile, Dini, a representative of PT Aneka Kaoline Utama, explained that the company's current needs are primarily for technician positions, particularly in the electrical and mechanical fields. "We are looking for workers with skills that meet industry needs," she explained.
Dini also emphasized the importance of work ethic and integrity as key assets for prospective employees, just as important as the technical skills of graduates.
"We hope that, once accepted, the alumni can work well and develop with the company," he emphasized.
The Head of the Academic Support Unit for Career Development and Entrepreneurship at Polman Babel, Harwadi, S.S.T., M.Ed., explained that campus hiring is a routine program held by the campus to provide alumni with broader access to jobs that match their competencies.
"Polman Babel continues to strive to collaborate with the industrial world so that every graduate not only has a diploma but also immediate employment opportunities. This is part of our responsibility to prepare ready-to-use vocational human resources," said Harwadi.
