The BEM Polman Negeri Babel Distributes Ramadan Takjil, Building Solidarity and Awareness Around Campus
The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic held a social outreach event during the holy month of Ramadan by distributing takjil (snacks) among fellow students on Monday (March 2, 2026), a practice that continues annually on campus.
The social outreach program focused on the area around the Polman Babel campus, targeting students approaching the time of breaking the fast, as they passed each other after class, to distribute takjil to motorists and pedestrians.
Since the afternoon, BEM officials have been on standby at strategic points around campus. They enthusiastically greeted every road user and handed out simple takjil packages for breaking the fast.

When reconfirmed on Wednesday (March 4, 2026), the Head of BEM Polman Babel, Yuda, stated that this activity is a form of caring and a sense of togetherness in this blessed month. "You don't have to wait a long time to give, because even small things can mean a lot to those who receive them," he explained.
Yuda explained that through simple acts of concern, the Student Executive Board (BEM) exists not only as a student organization, but also as an extended family that supports and strengthens each other.
"From these small steps, a sense of solidarity, empathy, and togetherness among students grows," he said.
Furthermore, Yuda explained that this takjil (breaking fast) sharing activity also serves as a means of strengthening relationships between administrators and building a positive image of students within the campus community. It's not merely ceremonial, but also filled with concrete actions that have a direct impact. "This activity is planned to become an annual event during the holy month," he said.
Through this takjil distribution, BEM Polman Babel hopes that the spirit of sharing and social awareness will continue to grow among students, so that the campus becomes not only a center for vocational education, but also a space for character development and humanitarian values," he explained.
