Learning Innovation, Babel State Polman Improves Kindergarten Teacher Competency with Digital Gamification
In an effort to support innovation in early childhood education, the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polmanbabel) held training entitled "Optimizing Interactive Learning: Implementing Digital Gamification Design in Learning".
This activity took place at Tunas Jaya Kindergarten, Sungailiat, on December 18 2024, with 15 teachers from Gugus Fatmawati participating.
The training led by Sari Mubaroh, M.Pd., as head of the service team, also involved Linda Fujiyanti, M.TI., and two students from the Software Engineering Technology Study Program. They provide materials and hands-on practice on applying game elements in digital learning.
Participants are invited to understand the concept of digital gamification, such as the use of points, badges and challenges to create a fun learning experience.

When confirmed, Monday (23/12/2024) Sari Mubaroh., M.Pd. said that we want to provide innovative solutions so that learning in kindergarten becomes more interesting and interactive. "Digital gamification allows children to learn while playing in a directed manner," he said.
"The training does not only contain theory, but also direct practice using special software. Participants are invited to design interactive learning methods that are relevant to the needs of kindergarten students. This is the main highlight that makes the training feel applicable and useful," he added.
As part of the Tridharma of Higher Education, this program reflects Polmanbabel's commitment to supporting education at various levels. "We hope that programs like this can be sustainable and have a positive impact on the world of education, especially in Bangka Belitung," added Sari Mubaroh.
Meanwhile, one of the teachers from Gajah Mada Kindergarten, Eryani, said that high enthusiasm was visible from the participants. They had active discussions and shared experiences related to the challenges of teaching young children.
“This training is very useful. "We know how to use technology to increase children's interest in learning," he said.
The Head of Tunas Jaya Kindergarten, Maemunah, S.Ag also expressed his appreciation to Polman Babel for this training. "Hopefully the knowledge provided can be directly applied by teachers to create more creative learning," he said hopefully.
Apart from increasing insight, this training also provides inspiration for teachers to continue to innovate. "The hope is that digital gamification elements can help increase children's learning motivation, creating a fun and effective learning atmosphere," he said.
Furthermore, another speaker from Polman Babel Lecturer Linda Fujiyanti, M.TI., also said that the participants were optimistic that these new skills would bring big changes to the learning process.
"This training is the first step towards better technology-based learning," said Linda Fujiyanti, M.TI.
"Through this program, Polman Babel shows its active role in supporting early childhood education, as well as providing concrete solutions in facing the challenges of the digital era in the world of education," he stressed.
