The Polman Negeri Babel Internship Commission Team is Actively Working with PT. PBM
The Internship Commission Team from the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) conducted another industrial visit to PT. Putra Bangka Mandiri (PBM) on Monday (July 28, 2025) to discuss the continuation of the student internship program collaboration.
The visit was led by Polman Babel's young lecturer, Ade Putra Maulana, M.Tr.T., who was warmly welcomed by the company through its representatives, Deni and Rudi, in the meeting room of the PT. PBM office located in Cengkong Abang Village, Mendo Barat District, Bangka Regency.
During the discussion, Ade Putra Maulana stated that the university's visit was not only to re-establish friendly relations but also to strengthen existing strategic collaborations, particularly in the placement of student interns.
"We at Polman Babel want to ensure that this internship program is not just a routine activity, but a sustainable program that provides real benefits for both students and the company," he said.
He stated that through this visit, he hopes that the placement of student interns at the target companies can be realized quickly, so that the internship placement program at the target companies can be implemented properly and according to needs.
Deni, a representative of PT. Putra Bangka Mandiri, which operates in the palm oil processing sector, stated that he responded positively to the campus's initiative and that the company is always open and ready to accommodate student interns from Polman Babel.
"The student interns are very helpful to our operations, and we hope this collaboration can continue and even increase in the coming years," he added.
He also assessed that the in-person visit from the campus demonstrates their seriousness in building long-term collaborative relationships. "Polman Babel's presence here is a strong signal that this synergy is not just talk," he continued.
