The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) is hosting "Students-e 2026," featuring a variety of competitions open to students from senior high schools (SMA), vocational high schools (SMK), and Islamic senior high schools (MA). The event is scheduled to take place from October 12 to 16, 2026, on the Polman Babel campus.
The competitions featured in Students-e 2026 range from agricultural extension, chess, futsal, men's and women's beach volleyball, creative video, Malay song, and pop song contests to the Electrical Design Challenge, infographic design, Business Model Canvas, product design, and first aid & stretcher drills.
Subkhan, M.T., the Organizing Committee Chair for Polman Babel’s Students-e, explained during an interview on Tuesday (October 6, 2026), "While Students-e is indeed an annual event, the types of competitions differ from previous years, as they have been tailored to the interests of SMA, SMK, and MA students."
Furthermore, the diverse range of competitions aims to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and abilities, gain new experiences, and build self-confidence through the Students-e 2026 event.
Rest assured, all competitions are judged by a panel in a fair and professional manner, regardless of the participants' backgrounds; whoever emerges as a winner has certainly undergone the evaluation process and been deemed deserving based on their abilities and the established criteria," he said.

Subkhan added, "Participants who win in Students-e 2026 will receive attractive prizes and certificates in recognition of the hard work and skills demonstrated throughout the competition," he concluded.
