Inauguration of Civil Servants, 39 Lecturers from Polman Negeri Babel Ready to Teach and Serve
A total of 39 Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) for the 2024 formation at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) were officially inaugurated as Civil Servants (PNS) by taking an oath or promise, Wednesday (05/28/2025).
This sacred moment took place on the 2nd Floor of the Joint Lecture Building and was led directly by the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D. and also witnessed by the vice-directors 1 Irwan.,Ph.D. and Vice-Director II Muhammad Subhan.,M.T.
The civil servants who were inaugurated mostly came from outside Bangka Belitung and filled the lecturer formation. Their diverse backgrounds are believed to strengthen the academic atmosphere and enrich perspectives in the teaching and learning process at this vocational campus.

In his remarks, the Director of Polman Babel emphasized that the task of an ASN in a higher education environment is not just teaching.
"As a civil servant in Polman Babel, you are not only a teacher, but also a role model. Uphold integrity, ethics, and the spirit of service," he said.
I Made also touched on the importance of adapting and strengthening competencies, especially in facing the dynamics of vocational education and the needs of the industry that continue to grow.
"Welcome aboard. Let's build an excellent, innovative, and highly competitive academic environment together," he added.

One of the civil servants who was inaugurated, Muhammad Hizbul Wathan, M.Kom., could not hide his emotion.
"Today is a moment that I have been waiting for for a long time. It feels like opening a new chapter in my life and career," he said.

Hizbul stated that he was ready to make a maximum contribution as an educator and hoped that his new status could bring about better changes.
"This responsibility is a mandate. I will work better than before, with high integrity," he said firmly.
He also expressed his hopes regarding more stable employee rights, including full income as a civil servant.
"When we were still CPNS, our salary was only 80 percent. With this full status, hopefully it will be the beginning of a more stable life for us," he concluded.
