Upholding Integrity and the Institution’s Reputation, the Director of the Bangka Belitung State Polytechnic Appoints Seven Staff Members to Functional Positions
Seven employees who were appointed to functional positions—along with the Director of the Bangka Belitung State Polytechnic, Deputy Director I, Deputy Director II, and staff from the personnel division—are pictured following the inauguration and oath-taking ceremony for civil servant (PNS) functional positions, held in the Presentation Room.
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Negeri Babel) held an inauguration and oath-taking ceremony for civil servants (PNS) appointed to functional positions, which took place in the institution’s presentation room on Monday (November 2, 2026).
Seven employees were officially inaugurated into their respective functional positions: Rifki Pramulia Adha, S.TP., Lestami Sintiasari, S.T., Dannia Rizki Putri, S.T., Gustin Amanda, A.Md., Chusna Amalia Putri, A.Md. Akun., Al Furqon, A.Md.T., and Hendra Firana, S.A.P.
In his remarks, the Director of Polman Negeri Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, Ph.D., reminded the newly inaugurated employees to consistently uphold their integrity and the institution's reputation. He emphasized that the responsibilities of a state official extend beyond merely avoiding corrupt acts; they must also ensure that the authority inherent in their respective positions is never misused.
I Made emphasized that no employee should take their core duties and functions lightly, as a single mistake could have a significant impact on the image and reputation of both the institution and the nation.
" Instill a sense of ownership and foster strong cooperation with your colleagues. If a mistake occurs, correct it immediately so that it does not tarnish the reputation of Polman Negeri Babel," he advised.
Furthermore, I Made highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong work ethic. He reminded employees that their salaries are derived from public funds, necessitating that they carry out their duties with full responsibility—grounded in the awareness that all work is constantly under the watchful eye of Allah SWT. "When working, do not wait for orders or praise. Perform your duties to the best of your ability for the advancement of the campus," he asserted.
Meanwhile, one of the newly appointed staff members, Al Furqon, A.Md.T., expressed his happiness and gratitude to all those who helped prepare for and ensure the success of this functional position inauguration. He added that he is now ready to carry out the duties and responsibilities associated with his new role.
"Moving forward, it is essential to work in accordance with the rules and regulations in effect at Polman Babel, avoid any form of misconduct, fulfill one’s responsibilities as an employee in carrying out the duties and functions of one’s position, and—at the same time—uphold professionalism, integrity, and the good name of Polman Babel," concluded Furqon.
