Polman Babel - Lecturers and students of Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung held a mutual cooperation involving PT. clean, healthy, beautiful and beautiful, Friday (25/08/2023).
Activities are filled with cleaning the campus grounds, cleaning the grass, and disposing of trash in its place, and it is expected that all the various elements to work together in keeping the environment clean must be carried out frequently.
Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D. revealed that in addition to fostering a sense of togetherness among all employees, mutual cooperation activities can also emphasize concern for the surrounding environment.
"We thank you for the participation of PT. Timah, Sungailiat District, Polman Babel Alumni and all elements of the community who were present participated in this mutual cooperation activity. Hopefully this activity is not just a temporary activity, but we are all fully aware that mutual cooperation in caring for the environment must continue to be encouraged to minimize the risks of unwanted disasters and the spread of disease," he explained.
In this case, the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Pristiansyah., M.Eng, said that this mutual cooperation can be used as a joint introspection and can give the community enthusiasm to regenerate a sense of love for the surrounding environment and handling disaster risks such as fires, lots of garbage scattered around the roads, this is all of us. must also coordinate with each other continuously between the local government and the community.
"Actually, this activity is the community's effort to find an easier solution and also to foster a sense of love for their own environment and to promote mutual cooperation which has rarely been seen lately. The government along with all elements of society are also asked not to litter because after all this environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility that must always be maintained," explained Pristiansyah.
