First Lecture of the Babel State Polman for the 2024-2025 Academic Year, Starting a New Step towards Innovation and Achievement
Students were seen in the first lecture with new enthusiasm, high hopes and the beginning of an inspiring academic journey, starting the journey with confidence to learn and develop at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic.
The inaugural lecture at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic Campus (Polman Babel) officially started on Monday (19/08/2024), marking a new chapter in the journey of an institution that continues to innovate and is committed to providing superior facilities and curriculum to support a better teaching and learning process .
Deputy Director I Polman Babel, Irwan, Ph.D., optimistically stated that the 2024-2025 academic year is an important moment for the campus. “The number of registered students has increased significantly, reaching 15%.
"Apart from that, with the addition of two new study programs, namely Diploma IV Digital Business and Precision Agriculture, we now have three main majors, namely Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Agricultural Industry, as well as Informatics and Business," he explained in an interview in his office.
The opening of this lecture began with a morning assembly led by the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Pristiansyah, M.Eng., who in his speech emphasized the importance of innovation in the world of education.
"Today we start a new chapter at Polman Babel, a place where students can develop their potential and achieve the best achievements. "The presence of new students in this inaugural lecture was welcomed enthusiastically by the lecturers, who were amazed by the various modern facilities provided by Polman Babel," he said enthusiastically.
Kelvin Setiawan, one of the new students, shared his experience, "I am very happy to be part of this campus. The existing facilities really support us to study and achieve." he said.
Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Agricultural Industry, Zanu Saputra, M.Tr.T., also added that he hopes that students can utilize all existing facilities to develop themselves optimally.
"We hope that students can use all available facilities to develop themselves as best as possible," he said.
"With all the potential and innovation on offer, Polman Babel is increasingly ready to become an inspiring and high-achieving learning center in the future," he concluded.
