Babel DPRD and Deputy Regent of Central Bangka Visit Babel State Polman, Encourage Educational Collaboration
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) received a visit from Members of the Bangka Belitung Province DPRD together with the Deputy Regent of Central Bangka Regency in an effort to strengthen collaboration in the education sector. This activity took place in the Polman Babel meeting room on Monday (03/02/2025).
During the meeting, the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, Ph.D., and his staff welcomed the arrival of Imam Wahyudi, S.IP., Member of the DPRD of Bangka Belitung Province, and Efrianda, S.T., Deputy Regent of Central Bangka Regency. This meeting aims to discuss synergies in the development of vocational education in Bangka Belitung.
Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, Ph.D., said that this visit was a positive encouragement for Polman Babel in developing higher quality technical and vocational education. He also expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the DPRD and Regional Government.
"We really appreciate the arrival of the DPRD and the Deputy Regent of Central Bangka. "This is a good first step in strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and local governments in order to produce graduates who are competent and ready to work," said I Made.
Meanwhile, Imam Wahyudi revealed that this was his first visit to Polman Babel. He expressed his admiration for the institution which is known to be superior in the technical and vocational fields in Bangka Belitung.
“This is my first time visiting Polman Babel, and I am very impressed with the quality of education available here. "We hope that this visit can open wider opportunities for cooperation in the field of education and vocational training," said Imam Wahyudi.
On the other hand, Deputy Regent of Central Bangka Regency, Efrianda, S.T., emphasized the importance of collaboration between regional governments and educational institutions in producing superior human resources.
“We have just taken office, but I see that this cooperation is very important. "Vocational education has a big role in increasing the competitiveness of regional workers, so the synergy between Polman Babel and the regional government must continue to be strengthened," said Efrianda.
The ongoing discussion also discussed various collaboration opportunities, including improving educational facilities, internship programs for students, as well as research collaboration and development of technological innovation.
With this visit, it is hoped that sustainable cooperation will be formed in improving the quality of vocational education in Bangka Belitung. Polman Babel continues to be committed to becoming an institution that not only produces quality graduates but also becomes a strategic partner for the government and industry in developing human resources in the region.
