The Celebration of Polman Babel's 30th Anniversary, Knitting Togetherness, Carving New Achievements Towards the Future
The Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., led the celebration of the 30th Anniversary with enthusiasm, inviting the entire academic community to continue to innovate and move forward.
Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) successfully held its 30th Anniversary celebration on Friday (18/10/2024) in the Main Building Hall.
This event was lively, with the presence of the entire academic community who together celebrated three decades of Polman Babel's journey.
The hall is decorated with modern themes and traditional touches adding a solemn atmosphere to this celebration. Soft background music accompanied the warm atmosphere among the attendees who seemed to be immersed in the spirit of togetherness.
Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., in his speech expressed his gratitude for the institution's achievements over the last 30 years.
"This anniversary is not just a celebration, but also a reflection of the long journey we have gone through together. I want to give appreciation to all employees who have contributed to building Polman Babel into a leading institution," he said.
Furthermore, I Made invited all parties to continue to support Polman Babel's innovation and achievements in the future. "Let's make this moment the first step to continue moving forward and produce a superior generation that is ready to compete in the industrial world," he added.

The celebration became more solemn with the cutting of the tumpeng by the Director as a symbol of gratitude and hope for a brighter future. The tumpeng rice was then given to employees who had served for 30 years, adding a moment of emotion and pride for the recipients.
Not only is it a reflection, this event is also an opportunity to strengthen relationships between employees through friendly sessions and entertainment from students.
Acoustic music performances and traditional dances performed by students further enlivened the atmosphere, showing the solidarity between lecturers, staff and students.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the event, employees also signed the Integrity Facts for the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) & Clean Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM), as well as the Anti-Violence and Sexual Harassment Integrity Facts.
This signing is a historical moment that confirms Polman Babel's commitment to maintaining integrity and creating a safe environment.
The Anniversary celebration closed with a joint prayer led by one of the lecturers, ending the series of events full of hope for a brighter future for Polman Babel.
