On the first day of the Spectrum 2026 event, the Polman Negeri Babel Arts Student Activity Unit successfully held dance and coloring competitions.
A festive atmosphere filled the front yard of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic, the best vocational school in Bangka Belitung. The Arts Student Activity Unit (UKM) held a dance and coloring competition, captivating the attention of participants, parents, and the community who attended on Friday (June 12, 2026).
The competition, part of the first day of the 2026 Spectrum Action series, featured two competition categories, with eight teams competing in the dance competition and 12 kindergarten-level children from various schools across Bangka Belitung participating in the coloring competition.

From midday, the competition area was packed with participants and spectators, and the various dance performances, combining creativity, teamwork, and cultural spirit, captivated both the judges and the audience.
On the other hand, the coloring contest was a major draw. The children enthusiastically expressed their creativity through bright colors on the drawings provided by the committee. Parents also added to the lively atmosphere.
In his remarks, Subkhan, M.T., the Advisor of the Polman Babel Arts Student Activity Unit (UKM Seni), expressed his gratitude to all participants and spectators who took the time to come to the Polman Babel campus as a form of support that should be appreciated for the development of the arts and creativity of the younger generation.
Furthermore, Subkhan advised participants not to be discouraged if they did not win a title, as the courage to participate in competitions is a valuable experience that can shape their mentality, increase self-confidence, and hone their skills.
"The most important thing is the learning experience they have undergone. That is an important foundation for achieving greater success in the future," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Polman Babel Arts Student Activity Unit (UKM Seni), Muhammad Khoirul Arifin, expressed his pride in the success of this event, the large turnout of art lovers, and all UKM Seni members who contributed their time, energy, and ideas to make Aksi Spectrum 2026 a success," he explained.
Not only that, Arifin explained that Aksi Spectrum is a platform for the younger generation to showcase their talents, creativity, and love of art. "On the peak day of the event, the number of participants and visitors will increase, so this event can become a continuously growing agenda," he stressed.
