This volleyball tournament invited participants from various backgrounds with a total of 28 categories of men's teams and 6 categories of women's teams registering. This shows the increasing interest and participation of students in volleyball, both in the men's 6 vs 6 volleyball and women's beach volleyball categories.
The winners of this year's volleyball tournament succeeded in showing their best performance in the 6 vs 6 volleyball category, the Security Guard team won 1st place, followed by class 4 EA as 2nd place, class 1 TMM B in 3rd place, and class 4 TE A as the hopeful champion.

The match that took place so far was filled with cheers from the audience who gave encouragement to each team.
The success of each team in reaching the final round cannot be separated from the hard work and intensive training they carried out for weeks beforehand.

When met on Tuesday, (29/10/2024), the Supervisor of Bangka Belitung State Polytechnic Manufacturing Volleyball UKM, Juanda, M.T., expressed his appreciation to all the participants and committee who had supported the success of this event.
"The men's 6 vs 6 volleyball and women's beach volleyball tournaments were able to run well and smoothly thanks to the solid cooperation of every party involved," he said.
Juanda admitted that this year's matches were tight, especially in the semifinals and finals which showed that the quality of the players was increasing.
"We are proud to see the development of the participants' skills, especially those who are taking part in this tournament for the first time," he added.
He also hopes that this championship can become a forum for students to develop their talents and abilities in sports, especially volleyball.
Juanda said that we hope this tournament can motivate more students to actively participate and continue to hone their skills.
In the future, UKM Volleyball plans to hold more intensive routine training activities to improve the performance of each member. “We don't just stop here. "There will be further training, and we hope that the participants who excel can be an inspiration for their friends to contribute to the next championship," added Juanda.
The 2024 volleyball tournament will not only strengthen ties between students but also build a spirit of sportsmanship within the campus environment. "With the success that has been achieved, it is hoped that events like this can continue to be held and become a routine event that is always looked forward to by the entire Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic academic community," he said.
