On the Second Day of an Educational Visit to Polman Negeri Babel, High School/Vocational High School Students Are Amazed by the Campus Facilities and Views
Unlike the first day, the educational visit to the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) campus on Wednesday (October 15, 2025) was even more packed. This time, hundreds of students from various vocational high schools (SMK) attended with great enthusiasm to learn more about the world of manufacturing and technology.
A total of 240 students from SMK Negeri 2 Sungailiat, SMK Muhammadiyah Sungailiat, SMK Negeri 2 Pangkalpinang, and SMK Negeri 4 Pangkalpinang filled the Polman Babel Hall from morning. They were warmly welcomed by the committee and students, who were ready to share their experiences about studying on campus.

The event began with a campus profile presentation session led by active students from various majors. The students introduced their study programs and laboratory facilities.
In addition to listening to presentations, the students were also taken on a tour of the practice rooms and laboratories to see firsthand the equipment used during theory and practical lectures. The visit was lively, with students in awe of the sophisticated machinery.

Noveya Larasati, S.Pd., a teacher from SMK Muhammadiyah Sungailiat, expressed her satisfaction with the visit, saying it was very beneficial, broadening students' horizons about the world of vocational studies and career prospects in industry.
"Activities like this are excellent. Students get to know the campus environment and the technology used in the workplace. Hopefully, they will be motivated to continue their education at Polman Babel," she concluded.

In addition to the teachers, one of the students, Jimmi, expressed his impression of the campus atmosphere and facilities at Polman Babel.
"It was really fun to tour the campus, especially when visiting the shared lecture building on the third floor, and to see the beach view from the windows," he said.
He added that the practical equipment in the laboratory was very interesting and aligned with the interests and skills he was learning at school. This experience further motivated him to deepen his skills in the engineering field," he explained.
