Also giving a speech at the opening ceremony, the Head of the Palembang Region II Construction Services Center, Nanan Abidin., M.Si, said that one of the benefits is building character and providing job opportunities for students, which is the aim of collaboration for those who are ready to graduate and providing opportunities for certification tests to obtain certificates. competent.
In connection with this, in order to realize Indonesian Construction Human Resources who have competencies that are in line with the needs of the construction industry and fulfill the provisions for construction workers who have competency certificates, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing as the Construction Services Supervisor needs to establish guidelines for the implementation of providing additional competencies and certificates. competence," he said.
"Through this program, we not only fulfill the obligations of the mandate of the Construction Services Law but can also improve the quality of entering the world of work after graduation. Meanwhile, the Head of Implementation, Masdani., M.T, said that this activity was carried out to prepare students who would graduate by competing in their fields and who would ultimately receive competent certification from the Construction Services Development Institute if they were declared passed by the assessors.
"We hope that students will have skilled workers who are ready to work, they must be competent graduates and certified professionals so that they have sufficient provisions for the world of work," he stressed.
