Deputy Director III of Polman Negeri Babel Discusses the Role of Tridharma in Entrepreneurship Discussion Towards Creative Economic Independence at RRI Sungailiat
The entrepreneurship discussion became even more lively when the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) participated in the "Entrepreneurship Towards Creative Economic Independence" event held by RRI Sungailiat on Tuesday (November 25, 2025).
The event featured two universities: Bachelor of Applied Digital Business students from Polman Babel and student representatives from the Pahlawan 12 Institute. Both universities participated in the discussion from start to finish.

Of particular interest was the presence of Deputy Director III of Polman Babel, Eko Sulistyo, M.T., as a resource person, alongside other speakers from the MSME sector and the Bangka Regency Tourism and Culture Office. The interaction and exchange of views between the speakers was lively.
In his presentation, Eko Sulistyo, M.T., explained the role of the Tridharma of Higher Education, particularly community service, which can be synergized with education and research to engage MSMEs in Bangka Regency.
Eko added that Polman Babel lecturers and students have collaborated extensively in the field, presenting innovations that can help MSMEs develop their businesses and strengthen economic independence.
"MSMEs are encouraged to come directly to the Polman Babel campus so we can provide support through lecturer community service programs, as long as the challenges faced by MSMEs can still be addressed within the campus' academic framework," he said.

The event was not only filled with discussions, but also became even more engaging when RRI opened a question-and-answer session. Polman Babel students appeared confident and dominated the answers, competing closely with students from the Pahlawan 12 Institute.

To close the event, all participants and speakers participated in a group photo session. Representatives from RRI, Polman Babel students, the Pahlawan 12 Institute, and the Bangka Regency Tourism and Culture Office were also present, demonstrating their commitment to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bangka Belitung through collaboration between universities, MSMEs, and regional broadcasters.
