Strict Selection, 259 New Students Pass SNBP Polman Negeri Babel
The National Selection for New Student Admissions through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) has ended. The announcement of the results of the selection for this pathway was delivered on March 18, 2025.
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) has also released the results of the announcement of students who passed the SNBP pathway on the official website of the best campus according to webometrics, namely at www.polman-babel.ac.id.
Based on the selection results, 513 prospective students registered at Polman Babel through the SNBP pathway. However, only 259 people were declared to have passed the selection. They come from various educational backgrounds, including high school, vocational school, and MA.
Deputy Director I of Polman Babel, Irwan, Ph.D., said that the results of this selection showed the high enthusiasm of prospective students to continue their education at Polman Babel. He also congratulated the participants who successfully passed the selection.
"We really appreciate the applicants. For those who pass, congratulations on joining Polman Babel. This is the first step in an academic journey full of challenges and opportunities," said Irwan on Thursday (03/20/2025).

Polman Babel Promotion and Publication Team Coordinator, Olan Romdhani, S.E., explained that the students who passed were spread across various study programs, in the Diploma III (D-III) study program, Machine Maintenance and Repair Engineering (PPM) accepted 36 students, Mechanical Design (PCM) 6 students, and Electronics (Elka) 7 students," he said.
Meanwhile, for the Applied Bachelor's degree (D-IV) study program, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (TMM) accepted 36 students, Electronic Engineering (TE) 36 students, Software Engineering Engineering (TRPL) 54 students, Manufacturing Design Engineering Engineering (TRPM) 8 students, Precision Agriculture (PP) 27 students, and Digital Business (BD) 49 students," he explained.
Olan also reminded prospective students who have not successfully passed through the SNBP route not to be discouraged. This is because there is still the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) route which will run until March 27, 2025, as well as the Independent route which will be opened after that.
"For those who have not succeeded in the SNBP pathway, do not be discouraged. There is still an opportunity through the SNBT and Mandiri pathways. Prepare yourself well so you can join Polman Babel," said Olan.
"Currently, the 2025 SNBT New Student Admissions are in the registration stage until March 27, 2025, before registering students must first create an account on the SNPMB portal," he added.
In addition, participants who have passed the SNBP selection are required to re-register. The registration process can be done through the official page https://baakpk.polman-babel.ac.id.
"Students who pass the SNBP pathway should immediately re-register with Polman Babel through our official page, for information, you can monitor the Polman Babel website and social media," said Olan.
It was further explained that the re-registration stages include two main parts. First, registration and uploading of files which will take place from 19 to 31 March 2025. Second, registration for payment of Single Tuition Fee (UKT) which is scheduled for 1 to 22 April 2025.
"We hope that all prospective students who have passed can immediately complete the administrative process on time. This is to ensure the smooth running of lectures in the upcoming academic year," said Olan
