Polman Negeri Babel Campus Hiring, PT Graha Inti Jaya Recruits Alumni Directly
Participants in the campus hiring program at Polman Negeri Babel looked serious and confident during the interview session with the company's recruitment team as part of the selection process.
The State Manufacturing Polytechnic of Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) once again supported the recruitment of graduates by holding a campus hiring event at the Joint Lecture Building on Tuesday (April 7, 2026).
This event was significant because it was the first time PT Graha Inti Jaya, under the auspices of Jolong Group Indonesia, had collaborated directly with Polman Babel alumni to recruit them directly on campus.
The campus hiring event was attended by 19 alumni who had passed the administrative selection process and proceeded to the next stage, an interview, as part of the recruitment process.
The atmosphere was dynamic and enthusiastic. The participants appeared confident in demonstrating their competencies to the company's recruitment team.
Wirra Al Farisi, a member of the PT Graha Inti Jaya recruitment team, noted that the majority of Polman Babel alumni possess excellent mastery of their fields, both in electrical and mechanical engineering.
"We are very pleased to see the active participation and welcoming attitude of Polman Babel. The alumni who participated in the selection process also seemed ready to compete in the interview," he said.
However, Wirra noted that communication skills, especially in English, still need to be improved. He added that upon graduation, graduates will be placed in Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, and Sumatra.
Meanwhile, Harwadi, M.Ed., Head of the Academic Support Unit for Career Development and Entrepreneurship at Polman Babel, emphasized that this activity demonstrates the institution's concern for alumni who have not yet found employment. "The campus feels a moral responsibility to help graduates find employment quickly after completing their education," he explained.
"Polman Babel plans to bring more companies to similar events. We hope that alumni will continue to communicate with the campus hiring team to obtain information on job opportunities," he said.
At the end of the activity, the event was closed with the handover of souvenirs as a symbol of cooperation between PT Graha Inti Jaya and Polman Babel, while also strengthening the partnership between the two parties," he concluded.
