The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) received a visit from the Department of Agriculture and Food to promote and offer its latest scholarship program. The meeting took place in the director's meeting room on Tuesday (December 2, 2025).
The visit was led by the Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food, Syarli Nopriansyah, S.S.T.P., along with several department heads. The delegation was greeted by the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., and lecturers from the Precision Agriculture Study Program.
During the meeting, Syarli immediately outlined the proposed scholarship program offered to Polman Babel students. "This program is designed to expand educational opportunities and support the needs of students studying in agriculture and related technologies," he said.
Syarli explained that the proposed scholarship scheme includes a tuition waiver, a laptop to support studies, housing assistance, and a monthly allowance of IDR 2 million.
"Hopefully, the scholarship offer will attract Polman Babel's interest in collaborating and provide a solution for students who need financial support to continue their education," he said.

Meanwhile, Polman Babel Director I Made Andik Setiawan responded positively to the proposal, stating that this scholarship program has the potential to be a strategic step in strengthening access to education for Polman Babel students.
I Made stated that if this collaboration is successfully realized, it will significantly help ease the economic burden on students, especially those from low-income families.
Furthermore, I Made added that collaboration with local government agencies such as the Bangka Regency Agriculture and Food Service is an important step in expanding the campus partnership network and increasing the relevance of vocational education.
"Polman Babel is ready to conduct further discussions to ensure this scholarship program can run effectively and provide optimal benefits for students," he concluded.
The meeting then concluded with a technical discussion regarding the selection mechanism and scholarship requirements, which will be finalized in a follow-up meeting between the two parties.
