Polman Negeri Babel Arts UKM Shows, Campus Can Also Be a Spectacular Stage
The Arts UKM of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) has once again rocked the campus arts scene through the AKSI (Getting Close to Art Children) event entitled ECLIPSE, an Art and Innovation Creation Event, which was held for two days, Friday–Saturday (20–21 June 2025).
This activity succeeded in creating a positive space for students and young people to express their talents and creativity.
Various competitions were held ranging from music, dance, to fine arts. Each performance was neatly packaged with aesthetic decorations, neat stage arrangements, and a dynamic flow of events, all of which came together to create a lively yet classy atmosphere.

The General Chairperson of the Polman Babel Arts UKM, Sugito, in his statement on Monday (23/06/2025), expressed his pride in the organization of the committee's event which had transformed ECLIPSE into one of the most awaited events on campus.
"Art is not just about aesthetics, but also about conveying messages, building solidarity, and opening up collaboration spaces. Through this AKSI, we want to invite all parties to see the great potential that students have in the arts," he said.
He also said that in the future, UKM Seni Polman Babel will continue to produce innovative and inspiring programs. The goal is to strengthen the arts ecosystem on campus that does not only focus on entertainment, but also forms character and social sensitivity.
"With the spirit of collaboration and creativity that continues to grow, we have high hopes that UKM Seni can become a pioneer in presenting works that have a positive impact on the campus environment and the wider community," he added.
More than just a competition, ECLIPSE is a stage that brings the spirit of expression to life. Students are invited not only to be spectators, but also active actors who voice messages, feelings, and hopes through works of art.
"Because art is not just a performance but is brought to life by courage and imagination." he added.
The high participation of participants and audiences, seen in the laughter, cheers, and applause of the audience, is real proof that art has a special place in the hearts of the campus community," he said.
Not only creating euphoria, this event also strengthens relationships between art lovers and expands art appreciation in the campus environment. ECLIPSE is not just about performing on stage, but about celebrating diversity and uniting the creative energy of young people on one frequency," he concluded.
