Babel State Polman Student Wins National Achievement, 1st Place in Writing Competition at Unila
Students from the Precision Agriculture Study Program from the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) have successfully made proud achievements on the national stage.
The Polman Babel Student Team consisting of Ahmad Desta Ardiansyah, Muhammad Khoirul Arifin, and Helen Sry Wahyuni Tampubolon won 1st place in the National Scientific Writing Competition for Precision Agriculture Students, held by Lampung State University (Unila) on 8-10 November 2024.
This success is proof of the perseverance and unyielding spirit of the Polman Babel precision agriculture team in producing quality scientific work.
In this competition, they brought up innovative topics that were relevant to technological developments and societal needs, which amazed the judges and competed fiercely with participants from various universities in Indonesia.
Supervisor Mahmudin, S.P., M.Si., congratulated and appreciated the hard work of this team. I congratulate the Polman Babel precision agriculture team for winning 1st place in National Scientific Writing organized by Unila. "Due to hard work, perseverance and enthusiasm for learning, they succeeded in achieving this achievement," said Mahmudin, Monday (11/11/2024).
He also added that this achievement brought great pride to students, lecturers and the entire Polman Babel academic community.
Mahmudin hopes that this achievement will spur the team's enthusiasm to continue creating better scientific work. "Hopefully in the future they will be even more enthusiastic about creating scientific work that is beneficial for education and society," he hoped.
"According to him, this scientific work has the potential to be developed and implemented in various forms, such as research, community service and journal publication," he added.
Apart from that, Mahmudin emphasized the importance of sharing the experience and knowledge gained by the team with other students. "He hopes that this achievement can inspire their friends and open up opportunities for further research in the academic field, as well as building a healthy competitive atmosphere on campus," he said.
Ahmad Desta Ardiansyah, one of the students, said he was proud and grateful for the achievements achieved. “We are grateful to the supervisors who always support and provide guidance. "Thanks to his support and the team's hard work, we were able to bring home 1st place," said Ahmad.
Ahmad also advised his fellow students not to be afraid to try and dare to compete in national events.
According to him, this experience taught him many valuable lessons, including how to face challenges and work in a team to achieve common goals.
Even though he won 1st place, Ahmad emphasized the importance of remaining humble and open to criticism and that the learning process does not stop with awards. "There is always room for improvement and development," he added.
"This attitude is a motivation for him to continue to develop and enrich his knowledge in the field of precision agriculture," he said.
