Babel State Polman and Bangka Regency Government Collaborate, Synergy Towards Innovation and Regional Progress
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) received a special visit from the Bangka Regency Government (Pemkab Bangka) on Monday (23/12/2024). The activities which took place in the Joint Lecture Building were filled with productive discussions and exploration of potential collaboration.
The Bangka Regency Government delegation was led directly by the Acting Regent M. Haris AR, AP, M.H., accompanied by a number of other important officials. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., along with representatives of campus lecturers and academics. The friendly welcome reflects great hopes for closer synergy between educational institutions and local governments.

In his speech, the Director of Polman Babel expressed his happiness about this visit. We appreciate the arrival of the Acting Regent and the ranks of the Bangka Regency Government with great happiness. "We see this as a very good first step to strengthen cooperation for mutual progress," he said.
The Director of Polman Babel also added that it is hoped that this collaboration will give birth to useful new innovations. "We are ready to support government programs that require the role of higher education institutions," he said.
