17 New Babel State Polman Officials, Officially Inaugurated Under New Nomenclature and OTK
Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) inaugurated an important structural transformation in the organization by inaugurating 17 new officials, Wednesday (13/11/2024).
The event which took place in the campus presentation room was carried out based on the Decree of Polman Babel Number 026 7/PL38/KP/2024 to Number 0283/PL28/KP/2024, marking the implementation of the new nomenclature and Organization of Work Procedures (OTK).
The 17 officials appointed are as follows;
Ahmat Josi, S.Kom., M.Kom. : Head of the Center for Quality Assurance and Learning Development
Subkhan, S.T., M.T. : Head of the Library Academic Support Unit
Riki Afriansyah, S.T., M.T. : Head of Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit
Shanty Dwi Krishnaningsih, S.S., M.Hum. : Head of Language Academic Support Unit
Meiyendra, S.E. : Head of Maintenance and Repair Academic Support Unit
Ramli, S.S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. : Head of the Academic Support Unit for Technology Development and Featured Products
Harwadi, S.S.T., M.Ed. : Head of the Academic Support Unit for Career Development and Entrepreneurship
Adhi Budiono, S.ST. : Head of the Academic Support Unit for Competency Test Services
Novitasari, S.Pd., M.Pd. : Coordinator of the Diploma III Electronics Engineering Study Program
Aan Febriansyah, S.ST., M.T. : Coordinator of the Applied Electronics Engineering Undergraduate Study Program

In his speech, the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., underlined that this inauguration was a big mandate. "This is a responsibility that is not light, but it is a good deed that will be remembered," said Made, reminding officials of the importance of dedication in carrying out their duties.
Made emphasized several main targets that must be achieved, including accreditation, developing the library into a comfortable place to study and achieving high accreditation.
In the field of language, Made reminded students of the importance of applying English and Mandarin as an effort to prepare graduates who are globally competitive.
Next is the main focus. Ramli, S.S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., was appointed as Head of the Technology and Featured Product Development Unit, a strategic position that will lead technology development on campus.
Apart from that, the field of entrepreneurship and student career development also received special attention with the appointment of Harwadi, S.S.T., M.Ed., as Head of the Academic Support Unit for Career Development and Entrepreneurship. "This step is expected to have a significant impact in preparing graduates who are ready to compete in the world of work," he said.
Not only that, I Made also emphasized the importance of double degrees and tracer study alumni. According to him, this program is the key to measuring the success of graduates in their careers.
"We want to ensure that our graduates have superior competencies and are ready to face global challenges," he said.

In the future, he also hopes that the change in nomenclature and appointment of new officials will take Polman Babel in a better direction, producing graduates who are competitive, internationally competitive, and ready to compete in an increasingly dynamic world of work.
"Together with the 17 appointed officials, they are expected to be able to bring about positive changes in various fields, from academic services to study programs," said I Made.
