Polman Babel Public Lecture Presents Expert Staff from the Minister of Education and Culture, Prepares Human Resources for a Golden Indonesia 2045
SUNGAILIAT-POLMANBABEL. Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) regularly holds public lectures to broaden students' insight.
This time Polman Babel presented Tatang Muttaqin as Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikburistek) in the field of Talent Management as a public lecture resource person in the Polman Babel Hall, Friday (06/10/2023).
Hundreds of second year students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering at Polman Babel enthusiastically attended the public lecture with the theme 'Preparing Superior Human Resources for a Golden Indonesia 2045'.
The Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D, in his speech expressed his gratitude for the presence of the minister's expert staff to provide lecture material to the students.
"We, representing Polman Babel, would like to express our gratitude for Mr. Tatang Muttaqin's presence at Polman Babel, despite his busy schedule he was still willing to come," said Made (06/10).
He also said that these students were potential future leaders, the next generation in accordance with the theme of preparing golden human resources in 2045.
Made also conveyed a message to students, when talking about the future it is about ability and how quickly you can grasp, master information, and how quickly you can master something.
"We can learn from previous people who are experienced in their fields, don't get bored of learning as times change so quickly and information is so fast," he said.
Take advantage of this public lecture opportunity to explore more deeply the potential and prospects of students in the future through resource persons who are experienced in their fields.
"Hopefully the knowledge conveyed by the resource person will be a useful provision for the students for the future, which is no less important, hopefully it will become a charity for all of us," hoped Made.
Meanwhile, Tatang Muttaqin, M.Ed., Ph.D explained the challenges of the global mega trend 2045, including technology developing more rapidly, future technological trends and the impact of technology on the workforce.
Apart from that, the minister's expert staff in the field of talent management also provided an overview of the vision of a golden Indonesia 2045 which can be achieved with the prerequisites for qualified, productive and technologically competent human resources.
"The dynamics of technological change are very fast, students must compete and attract talented human resources," said Tatang.
In the material, Tatang also explained the policy of independent learning and independent campuses and conveyed several program directions from the Minister of Education and Culture.
