End of Additional Certification Program for 50 Babel State Polman Alumni in the Construction Sector
A total of 50 alumni of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel), consisting of graduates of the Diploma III and Applied Bachelor programs, successfully completed the program to provide additional competencies and certification in the construction sector, Friday (11/10/2024).
This program aims to improve the skills of graduates so they are better prepared to face challenges in the construction industry.
Director of the Polman Babel Professional Certification Institute (LSP), Masdani, M.T., closed the activity with a sense of pride. "This is an important moment for alumni to increase their skills in line with the current needs of the construction industry," said Masdani.
Furthermore, Masdani revealed that this program was designed to meet nationally recognized competency standards. "We want to ensure that alumni not only have a diploma, but also have recognized competencies so that they are more confident in competing in the world of work," he added.
Masdani hopes that this certification program can be an inspiration for other students to continue developing themselves. "Hopefully our graduates will be increasingly recognized by industry, and this certification is a form of real recognition of their competence," he said confidently.
On the other hand, the assessor examiner, Rachman Nuryadin, S.T., stated that all participants who took part in this program had undergone a strict assessment. “We provide an assessment that is objective and based on industry standards. "So, those who pass have truly demonstrated their competence," explained Rachman.
Rachman also reminded alumni to continue to hone their skills even though they have received certification. "This certification is not the end, but rather the first step to always improving one's quality," he added.
Salsabilla Rienera, one of the alumni who took part in this program, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity given. "This program really helped me understand the technical aspects of the construction field that I had not previously mastered," said Salsabilla.
He also admitted that he was more confident in entering the world of work after successfully obtaining certification. "It feels like I have additional capital which makes me more ready to compete," he said with a proud smile.
With this, I hope that the alumni can apply the knowledge they have gained during this certification program in the world of work. "With the competency certification they have obtained, they are expected to be able to make a real contribution to the construction sector," he stressed.
