Action Full of Laughter and Talent, Student Art Competition at Polman Negeri Babel Floods with Appreciation
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) again held exciting and entertaining activities in the Student-e event, which took place on Thursday (17/10/2024) at the Joint Lecture Theory Building.
One of the things that attracts the most attention is the art competition held by the Art Student Activity Unit (UKM). This event is not only a place to showcase student talent, but also creates a warm competitive atmosphere full of creativity.
Various art competition categories were competed in, ranging from Stand Up Comedy, Vocal Solo, Poetry Reading, to Infographic Design. Each category attracted the attention of participants and spectators who filled the building with great enthusiasm. Each participant tries to give their best performance in front of a panel of judges who are competent in their field.
For the Stand Up Comedy category, the judges on duty were Ramli, M.Sc, Ph.D., Subkhan, M.T., and Tuparjono, M.T. The assessment is carried out carefully, assessing the participants' comedic abilities in telling stories that are not only funny, but also creative and relevant.
In this category, Moch. Rizky managed to take home the 1st place title, followed by Niko Julianto as 2nd place winner, and Dhimas Dwi Azhari in third place.
Meanwhile, the Vocal Solo category presents a jury consisting of Subkhan, M.T., Charlotha, M.Tr.T., and Robert Napitupulu, M.T. They assessed the participants' vocals, technique and soulfulness when singing the song of their choice.
In this category, Djuniarkasih Fahhzani emerged as 1st place, followed by Risma Tiolina Banjarnahor in second place, and Muhammad Fadly in third place.
The Poetry Reading category also took place with great appreciation, led by judges Subkhan, M.T., Shanty Dwi Krishnaningsih, M.Hum., and Harwadi, S.ST, M.Ed.
The participants delivered poetry full of expression and deep meaning. Desvira Yasmitasari won first place, followed by Mahisya Darizqi in second place, and Aldian Kurniawan S as third place.
The Infographic Design Competition also presents visual innovation from students. The jury consisting of Subkhan, M.T., Riki Afriansyah, M.T., and Muhammad Haritsah Amrullah, M.Eng. provide assessments based on creativity, clarity of message, and design aesthetics.
Andika Saputra emerged as first place, followed by Rizki Kamelia as second place, and Destia Anggraini in third place.
Charlotha, M.Tr.T., as the supervisor of the Polman Babel Arts UKM, expressed his appreciation to all participants.
"For those who have won, remain humble and not arrogant. For those who have not won, don't be discouraged, continue to improve your skills," said Charlotha, Monday (21/10/2024). This message was conveyed with the hope that students will continue to be motivated to work without stopping.
This event is not only a place to showcase talent, but also a means for students to strengthen togetherness and hone their artistic skills.
"It is hoped that activities like this can continue to become a long-awaited routine agenda at Polman Babel," stressed Charlotha.
