Polman Negeri Babel Students Win Gold, Silver, and Bronze at the 2025 Indonesian Science Competition
Students from the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) once again achieved a brilliant achievement. This time, they took home gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Indonesian Science Competency Competition (AKSI), held online by the National Science Championship Center (Puskanas) from August 31 to September 2, 2025.
In the competition, Polman Babel won four gold medals through Muhammad Dezaka Wicansyah (English), Nasywatun Fadhilah (English), Rizka Layla Ramadhani (Mathematics and Accounting), and Daveo Dava Putra (English).
In addition, five silver medals were won by Abrel (Mathematics and English), Evan Mahesa (English), Raihan Adi Pratama (English), Rayhan Rafhsanjani (English), and Abdillah Zahid At-Taqiy (English).

Equally impressive was Sella Allisya Salsabila's bronze medals in the Mathematics and English categories.
One of the gold medalists, Daveo Dava Putra, expressed his gratitude on Wednesday (September 3, 2025). "Winning a gold medal in English is very gratifying. Since childhood, I've been interested in learning English, and I've practiced grammar, tested on the TOEFL, and had the support of my parents," he said.
Rizka Layla Ramadhani, the gold medalist in the Mathematics and Accounting category, expressed a similar sentiment. "Don't be afraid to take a chance. Even if it's small, you have to try," she advised.

Mathematics and Accounting lecturer, Indah Riezky Pratiwi, M.Pd., also expressed her pride. "All this time, our learning has not been in vain. This achievement demonstrates that Polman Babel students are able to compete at the national level," she said.
Indah also emphasized the importance of consistency in learning, always telling her students to never get tired of repeating practice questions.
"The results they have achieved are the fruit of hard work and perseverance," she said.

Meanwhile, English lecturer, Sari Mubaroh, M.Pd., also couldn't hide her emotion. "I am very proud of their abilities. They have demonstrated great potential in English and are able to compete nationally." "Hopefully, this will motivate other students to continue participating in various competitions," he said.
This achievement is expected to not only bring honor to the campus but also inspire and encourage other Polman Babel students to boldly explore their abilities in their chosen fields," he concluded.
