30 Student Teams Compete in the Students-e 2026 Beach Volleyball Tournament at Polman Negeri Babel
Viewed from the left side of the court, the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Negeri Babel) is hosting a beach volleyball tournament for high school (SMA/SMK/MA) students as part of the week-long "Students-e 2026" event series; the competition runs from the preliminary rounds through to the finals, with matches taking place on Tuesday (October 13, 2026).
According to the organizing committee, the tournament features 30 teams—comprising 19 men's and 11 women's beach volleyball squads—with participants competing throughout the day to showcase their best skills on the court.
Tournament referee and judge Ropi Suwandi stated that the beach volleyball competition is a regular feature of the Students-e event, designed to introduce Polman Negeri Babel to students through sports competition.

He further encouraged participants who did not advance to the next round not to be disheartened but to continue improving their skills through diligent training, while urging the remaining teams to keep fighting and maintain their spirit as they aim for the finals.
" Praise be to God, favorable weather conditions allowed the competition to proceed smoothly," he added.
Ropi reminded all participants to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as the decisions of the referees and judges throughout the match, noting that compliance with the rules fosters professionalism, maintains order, and creates a conducive atmosphere for the competition.
Furthermore, this tournament serves as a bridge for students who have completed their high school or vocational education to pursue further studies at Polman Negeri Babel. By enrolling as students, they have the opportunity to join the volleyball student activity unit and hone their athletic skills through various competitions—including the biennial Sports and Arts Week (Porseni)—while also helping to identify promising beach volleyball talent and prepare the next generation of players," he concluded.
