Encouraging Sports Spirit, UKM Futsal Polman Negeri Babel Holds Exciting Tournament
Both teams in the opening match, brought the spirit of sportsmanship and brotherhood in the 2025 UKM Polman Negeri Babel Futsal Tournament. Whoever the winner is, the most important thing is the struggle in every minute of the match.
The futsal field of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) was filled with enthusiasm and cheers on Monday (28/04/2025) afternoon.
The Polman Babel Futsal Student Activity Unit (UKM) officially opened the futsal tournament which was attended by 20 teams from students and employees.
This tournament is a place to show off their skills for futsal lovers on campus. Not only students, employees also participated in enlivening the match, creating a competitive atmosphere but still full of familiarity.
The opening match brought together the PUY FC team against the Polman Babel Employee team. Both teams performed enthusiastically, proving that the spirit of sports unites all elements of the campus regardless of status.
When met in his office on Tuesday (29/04/2025), the Advisor of UKM Futsal Polman Babel, Rodika, M.T., revealed that this tournament is part of an effort to strengthen relations between campus residents.
"Through this competition, we want to build togetherness and sportsmanship in Polman Babel. This is not just about who wins, but how we enjoy the process together," he said.
He also hopes that in the future activities like this can continue to be developed, even becoming a big annual agenda that is more lively and involves more parties," he added.
The Head of UKM Futsal Polman Babel, Aditia Akbar Rianto, also expressed his hope that the futsal tournament will be bigger from year to year. According to him, participation from all study programs and improved facilities are the keys to the success of the event in the future.
"We want this event to grow more professionally, with the support of more complete facilities. The bigger the tournament, the more positive values we can create," said Aditia.
Aditia added that this futsal tournament is not only a place to compete skills, but also a means to strengthen brotherhood between students and employees.
"He hopes that UKM Futsal Polman Babel can become a place for developing more serious futsal athletes in the future and it can be seen from the first day, this futsal tournament is predicted to be one of the most anticipated sports agendas on campus," he concluded.
