Sungailiat_Polman Babel. The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) held a public lecture to hundreds of sophomore students from all study programs in the Polman Babel hall, Tuesday 13 June 2023.
Through the theme "Improving Achievement Through Scholarships in Welcoming the 2045 Indonesian Golden Generation" the general lecture by Bambang Patijaya, S.E., M.M. as a member of Commission VII DPR RI.
Deputy Director III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Eko Sulistyo, M.T in his remarks thanked Commission VII DPR RI for visiting Polman Babel to provide knowledge and insight.
"We thank you for the arrival of Commission VII DPR RI to Polman Babel who has been willing to provide information and insight to students," said Eko (13/6)
He also said that the theme of the public lecture this time was very suitable for students to improve future performance by finding out information and taking advantage of scholarship programs.
"Students, pay close attention to the information conveyed by the resource person because this is very useful for you," said Eko.
Resource person Bambang Patijaya who currently serves as a member of the DPR-RI for the 2019-2024 Period at Commission VII provided material on the government scholarship program as well as an overview of the economy in Indonesia today and in the future.
Bambang Patijaya said that the central program he brought to Bangka Belitung was in collaboration with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) as a partner of Commission VII DPR RI, one of which was a scholarship program.
Until now, hundreds of students from State Universities (PTN) and Private Universities (PTS) in Babel have received scholarship allocations from BRIN.
"We and BRIN have 18 activities that can involve community stakeholders and the world of education, of course. One of them is this scholarship program and training in writing scientific papers for teachers and lecturers," said Bambang.
According to BPJ's nickname, this scholarship program is very important because apart from reducing tuition fees, students will also be more focused on studying. (hms)
