The ZHEES PMB Polman Negeri Babel Team Reached the Final and Won Second Place in the UKOM IAIN Milad Futsal Tournament
The ZHEES PMB Polman Babel futsal team successfully won second place in the Campus Futsal Tournament organized by IAIN to commemorate the 5th anniversary of UKOM. The final match which was held on Monday (30/09/2024) was an important moment for this team, which performed with enthusiasm and managed to advance to the top match.
The ZHEES PMB team is strengthened by ten players consisting of Polman Babel students, namely Adhitya, Rohim, Abi Barokah, Joyo Aziz, Zare, Gustian, Muhammad Hasan, Abdul Cholis, Mujahidin, and Yoga. With extraordinary unity and hard work, they were able to show solid play from the start of the tournament to the final round.
Rohim, as the team captain, felt proud of this achievement even though he had not yet won first place. "We played with heart and gave our best in every match. Even though in the end we only got second place, we are still grateful for this achievement. This is motivation to continue to develop," said Rohim.
The team captain also added that the journey to the final was not easy. "We faced many tough teams. Victory was achieved not only from individual skill, but also from good teamwork," stressed Rohim enthusiastically.
Zika Lorika, coach of the ZHEES PMB team, expressed high appreciation for the struggles of his team's children. "They have shown extraordinary fighting spirit. I am proud of their performance in being able to compete until the final. This is not just about winning, but a valuable process and learning," said Zika.
Furthermore, Zika hopes that this achievement will be a good start for the team in the future. "We will continue to improve and prepare ourselves better for the next tournaments. I am sure that with the existing potential, this team can achieve even more achievements," he added optimistically.
Meanwhile, Rodika, M.T., as the team coach, highlighted the team's success as clear evidence of good coaching. "Even though they haven't won first place, they have shown impressive achievements. Getting to the final is a big achievement that must be appreciated," he said.
Rodika also hopes that the ZHEES PMB team will continue to improve the quality of their game. "I hope this achievement does not stop here. They must continue to practice and improve their skills so that in the future they can bring home first place," he hoped.
This futsal tournament is an important momentum for ZHEES PMB Polman Babel to continue to hone their skills and prove their existence in the campus competition arena. "This achievement is a source of pride for the entire Polman Babel academic community and of course an encouragement for other students," said Rodika.
"With this achievement, ZHEES PMB is increasingly known as one of the campus futsal teams that should be taken into account in various competitions," concluded Rodika.
