Fierce Competition for Contract Worker Selection at Polman Negeri Babel, Dozens of Applicants Undergo Physical Tests and Interviews
The Personnel Team of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) is currently conducting a recruitment selection process for contract security guards and cleaning staff.
The selection process, which includes interviews and physical tests, will last three days, from December 8 to 10, 2025. This process is being conducted to meet the need for security and cleaning staff on campus.
This year's recruitment requirement consists of three security guard positions and two cleaning staff positions. All accepted contract staff will be placed at Polman Babel Campus 2, located in Central Bangka Regency, as part of the institution's efforts to improve service quality and create a safe and clean campus environment.
When contacted on Thursday (11/12/2025), Wahyuni Anggraeni, S.E., a member of the Polman Babel Personnel Team, familiarly known as Anggi, explained the progress of the selection process. "There is quite a high level of public interest in applying for the job," she explained.
Anggi revealed that 34 applicants submitted applications for the Security Guard position, 13 of whom reside in Central Bangka Regency. Of these, approximately nine candidates met the initial criteria and underwent a physical test and interview.
"The final decision will be determined through a ranking system based on the highest scores for the three available positions," he added.

Meanwhile, for the Cleaning Officer position, the number of applicants reached 36. Of these applicants, 25 passed the administrative selection process, with some applicants coming from outside Bangka Regency. The score recapitulation process is currently underway to select the two best candidates for the available positions," he said.
He explained that this year's selection process was conducted strictly and objectively to ensure that the contract workers accepted truly meet the competency standards required by Polman Babel. "The assessment criteria include physical aspects, work ability, and readiness to carry out tasks professionally," he explained.
Furthermore, Anggi explained that all accepted applicants must be ready to work in accordance with the procedures and regulations applicable at Polman Babel.
"Discipline, responsibility, and work ethic are key qualities. We hope that the selected contract workers will make a positive contribution to the campus environment," he added.
"With that, the Polman Babel Personnel Team will announce the final selection results after the entire assessment process is completed by providing job opportunities for qualified applicants," Anggi emphasized.
