PKKMB Babel State Polman Campus, a Strong Foundation for New Students in Campus Life
Polman Babel - Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic Campus is currently holding an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) in the Hall Building, Monday (05/08/2024) as part of an annual initiative to facilitate the initial transition of new students.
The event, which lasts for one week, aims to introduce new students to campus life, facilities, and available academic and non-academic programs.
In this PKKMB, around 450 new students took part in various sessions which included motivational presentations, introductions to lecturers and staff, as well as Polman Babel campus regulations.

Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D. "opening the event with his speech said we welcome you warmly and full of hope because PKKMB is an opportunity to get to know more about this campus and start your academic journey with new knowledge and enthusiasm," he concluded.
"Take advantage of this opportunity to establish good relationships with fellow students and the entire academic community, as well as mark the beginning of the new students' academic journey with high enthusiasm and enthusiasm," he said.
"This activity is also to help students understand campus culture, utilize existing facilities, and build social networks that will support them during their studies," he said.
During the event, new students were given the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops, including sessions on time management, study skills, and introduction to student organizations.
"I Made also hopes that this activity will not only help them adapt to the campus environment, but also motivate them to achieve success both in the academic and social fields," he stressed.

"When met by one of the new students, Mitra said that this activity was very useful, to start the academic journey with confidence and full preparation and knowing a lot of information about the Polman Babel campus," he said.
"He also felt happy and excited to take part in this activity to understand campus life and make connections with new friends and I felt more prepared and enthusiastic to start studying," he concluded.
