The SOSPRO Polman Babel team rushed to SMK Negeri 1 Tempilang, sharing exciting information about college, scholarships and a cool future in the vocational world. Students are getting more enthusiastic, Polman Babel is becoming more well known.
The Socialization and Promotion Team (SOSPRO) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) made another educational visit, this time to SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang and SMK Negeri 1 Tempilang. This activity was attended by 156 students and teachers who enthusiastically welcomed the team's presence.
The SOSPRO team consists of Zulfan Yus Andi, Ph.D., Ocsirendi, M.T., Sidhiq Andriyanto, M.Kom., and Hadi Firmansyah, S.I.Kom. They shared insights about the world of polytechnics as well as various educational opportunities that can be achieved at Polman Babel.
Senior lecturer, Zulfan Yus Andi, Ph.D., succeeded in stealing the students' attention with his interactive and humorous communication style. He explained the advantages of Polman Babel and how vocational education can be a bridge to a successful career.
"You have to go to college! Don't let yourself continue your education after graduating from high school, especially if your parents are still capable and supportive," said Zulfan, motivating students not to hesitate in pursuing higher education.
Apart from that, he also reviewed the differences between the Bachelor's and Applied Bachelor's degrees offered at Polman Babel. This is important information for students who are still confused about choosing an educational path after graduating.
Adding important information, Ocsirendi, M.T., discussed various entry routes to Polman Babel, such as the National Achievement Based Selection (SNBP) as well as various scholarship programs, including the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) and support from the Business and Industrial World (DUDI).
Meanwhile, Sidhiq Andriyanto, M.Kom., introduced the Software Engineering Technology Study Program (TRPL). He explained that TRPL is a field that is very relevant to current technological developments and has broad career prospects in the world of digital industry.
Not only did you get insight from the lecturers, the interaction session was also filled with questions from the students. "One of the students at SMK Negeri 1 Tempilang, Fadila Ariyanto, expressed his interest in Polman Babel and expressed his desire to enroll at the campus," he said with a smile.
