79 Polman Negeri Babel Students Enjoy Educational Scholarship Benefits
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) once again supports student education. Seventy-nine students officially received bank books from BRI Bank as a symbol of the disbursement of scholarships from the KIP (Kartu Keluarga), Higher Education Affirmation (ADik), and community applications. The handover took place in the campus presentation room on Thursday (October 2, 2025).
This scholarship program is one of the government's efforts, along with universities, to ensure access to education remains open for students in need. The total recipients comprised 76 students from the KIP program, one student from the Affirmation program, and two students from the community application program.
Eko Sulistyo, M.T., Deputy Director III of Polman Babel, emphasized that this scholarship provides not only financial assistance but also moral encouragement to encourage students to pursue higher education. "This program is here to help students in need in their studies," he added.
Eko emphasized that the sustainability of the scholarship depends on students' compliance with applicable regulations.
"Students must continue to strive, maintain their achievements, and fulfill the requirements to continue receiving scholarships until the end of their studies," he said.
Furthermore, the KIP, Affirmative Action, and community application programs are designed to ensure that students from various backgrounds have equal opportunities to pursue higher education. "It's not just about tuition fees, but also about motivating students to excel and develop themselves," he said.
With support like this, it is hoped that Polman Babel students will remain motivated to achieve their dreams. Higher education is no longer a burden, but a path to the future," he concluded.
One such experience was felt by Levi Juliansyah, a Diploma III student, who expressed his gratitude for this opportunity. "I feel very helped. This scholarship has eased the burden on me and my parents. I hope I can complete my studies and graduate successfully," he said.
According to Levi, the financial support provided allows him to focus more on his education without having to worry too much about tuition fees and other study needs. He is determined to prove his best until he completes his studies at Polman Babel," he concluded.
