Signing of the Inscription Stone for the Joint Lecture Building, a Step Forward for the Babel State Polman in Vocational Education
Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) held a signing ceremony for the Joint Lecture Building (GKB) inscription stone on Friday (11/10/2024).
This event was a historic moment for Polman Babel as part of the development of more modern and superior vocational education facilities.

This event was attended directly by Plt. The Director General of Vocational Education, Tatang Muttaqin, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for Polman Babel's efforts in improving the quality of vocational education. Apart from that, all Polman Babel lecturers and academics were also present, showing full commitment and support for this achievement.
Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., opened the event with an enthusiastic speech. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of GKB as a center for representative teaching and learning activities, which is able to accommodate a variety of academic activities for the advancement of education in Polman Babel.
"The Joint Lecture Building is not just a facility, but also a symbol of our success in providing the best education for students. "We hope that this building can become a center for collaboration, innovation and learning that is relevant to industrial needs," said Made.
He also advised all lecturers to continue to innovate and develop teaching methods that are relevant to current technological developments and industrial needs.
"With the presence of GKB, it is hoped that we will all be more motivated to contribute in producing graduates who are competent and ready to compete," he added.

In his speech, Plt. The Director General of Vocational Education, Tatang Muttaqin, Ph.D., expressed his pride in Polman Babel which continues to innovate and improve facilities. He emphasized that improving the quality of infrastructure is an important step in advancing vocational education in Indonesia.
Tatang also expressed his hope that this new building can support various academic and practicum activities for students, so that they can be better prepared to face the challenges of the world of work.
"I hope that GKB can become a place that encourages students' creativity and skills in preparing themselves for the future," he said.
He also expressed his gratitude for the construction of GKB and gave full support to Polman Babel to continue moving forward.
"We from the Ministry of Vocational Education fully support Polman Babel's steps in providing the best facilities for students," said Tatang enthusiastically.
The stone inscription signing event ended with a joint prayer as an expression of gratitude and hope that the Joint Lecture Building can be optimally useful.
With this, Polman Babel continues to strengthen its position as a vocational education institution that is ready to produce a superior and work-ready generation.
