Following the 80th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) on Sunday (August 17, 2025), the campus presented awards to dozens of lecturers, educational staff, and support staff as a token of appreciation for their dedication and performance.
The awards were presented in the Polman Babel Hall, witnessed by the entire academic community. Twenty-six employees received the 10-Year Satyalancana Karyasatya (Satialancana Karyasatya) Award, recognizing their loyalty and dedication to the institution.
In addition, awards were given to 24 outstanding lecturers in the national research grant category and five recipients of national community service grants. These achievements are considered to demonstrate the contributions of Polman Babel lecturers to supporting scientific development and community empowerment.
Nine patent-winning lecturers also received awards. Their achievements in producing innovative work are considered in line with Polman Babel's mission to continuously encourage innovation relevant to industry needs.
Other awards were also presented to 28 of the students' favorite lecturers and laboratory technicians, as a result of direct student assessments. These assessments reflect the dedication of educators and laboratory technicians to the university's students.
Meanwhile, three outstanding student advisors were also recognized, along with six employees who were deemed disciplined for never being late for a full year. This demonstrates dedication, reflected not only in academic achievement but also in daily work discipline.
Awards also reached campus support staff. Ten security guards and cleaning staff with more than 10 years of service received special recognition. One cleaning staff member, who was retiring, was also honored with a farewell.

The Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, Ph.D., stated that these awards are a tangible form of the campus's appreciation for these deserving employees, who have demonstrated extraordinary efforts and achievements.
He also emphasized that this award ceremony will become a regular event during every Indonesian Independence Day commemoration.
"Every year, we will recognize all outstanding employees." "Hopefully, this will increase work enthusiasm and motivation to continue working," he added.
With this award, all Polman Babel employees, including lecturers, educational staff, and support staff, will be further motivated to make the best possible contribution to the campus," he concluded.
