The Bangka Belitung State Student Executive Board (BEM) Brings Happiness Through the Wira Abhipraya for Humanity Program at the Al Kautsar Orphanage.
An atmosphere full of warmth and togetherness was seen when the management of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic took a photo with the children of the Al Kautsar Orphanage in the Wira Abhipraya for Humanity activity.
The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) once again held a social outreach event, titled "Wira Abhipraya for Humanity," at the Al Kautsar Orphanage on Sunday (December 14, 2025).
The humanitarian event was warm and full of camaraderie. The orphanage children appeared cheerful as they gathered with the Polman Babel BEM administrators in a simple yet meaningful family atmosphere.
Various interactive activities were held to foster emotional closeness between the students and the orphanage children. Jokes, laughter, and togetherness punctuated the event from beginning to end.
When contacted on Monday (December 15, 2025), the Head of the Polman Babel Student Executive Board (BEM), Yuda, stated that the Wira Abhipraya for Humanity activity is a concrete manifestation of students' social responsibility, spreading inspiration and humanitarian values by sharing enthusiasm, motivation, and instilling the value of caring, especially to children in orphanages, so they remain optimistic about their future.
Yuda explained that this activity aligns with the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly the aspect of community service, which is the moral responsibility of students as academics.
"In addition to sharing happiness, students motivate the children at the orphanage about the importance of education as the primary foundation for achieving their dreams and a better life in the future," he said.
Furthermore, the Wira Abhipraya for Humanity activity serves as a means to strengthen the relationship between the Polman Babel Student Executive Board and the management and children of the Al Kautsar Orphanage. It focuses not only on visits to the orphanage but also extends to various levels of society so that its benefits can be felt more widely," he concluded.
