Starting from Trial and Trial, TRPL Polman Negeri Babel Students Won the 2025 National KMIPN Championship.
This time, with a different performance, students from the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) Study Program at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) once again achieved impressive achievements at the national level. In the 7th National Polytechnic Informatics Student Competition (KMIPN) 2025, held at the Padang State Polytechnic from October 13–16, 2025, Polman Babel teams took home several titles.
Team Frijua, competing in the Internet of Things (IoT) category, won first place in the IoT Solution Creativity category. The team, consisting of Adinda, Frisca, and Juliarti, captured the judges' attention with a technological innovation deemed creative, efficient, and with potential for further development.

Equally impressive was Team NewBie, competing in Cybersecurity, which also achieved outstanding results, winning second place in the Spirit of CTF Jeopardy. The team, consisting of Dezaka, Gabriel Jonathan, and Royyan, demonstrated sharp digital security analysis skills and solid teamwork throughout the competition.

Meanwhile, the ICT Business Development (PHT) team also contributed to the competition, winning second place in the ICT Business Product Innovation competition. The team, led by Pidaryani and Khusnul, was recognized for their ability to present digital business ideas relevant to current industry needs, while also demonstrating their ability to design sustainable business models.
When met on Wednesday (10/15/2025), the supervising lecturer, Riki Afriansyah, M.T., expressed his pride in the achievements of his students. "This success is not just the result of hard work in a short time, but the fruit of a long process accompanied by strong determination and an unyielding spirit," he said.
Furthermore, this achievement demonstrates Polman Babel students' ability to compete at the national level.
"They not only demonstrated technical skills, but also extraordinary creativity and teamwork," he said.
Furthermore, Riki added that the KMIPN event is an important platform for students to hone their skills and test their critical thinking skills in the field of information technology. He hopes this achievement will inspire other students to continue innovating and daring to try new things," he concluded.

At the same time, one of the Frijua team members, Frisca, revealed that they initially intended to participate without high goals. However, with hard work, intensive training, and full support from their supervisor, they managed to take home first place," she admitted.
Initially, we just wanted to gain experience, but our efforts paid off. From this, we learned that we should never be afraid to try, because with every attempt, there is an opportunity for success," she said.
She continued, saying that this achievement can motivate all students to keep trying and be confident in every competition.
"Opportunities are always right in front of us, the important thing is to have the courage to try and never give up," Frisca concluded.
