The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) has officially opened opportunities for high school and vocational high school students to continue their higher education through the National Student Admissions Selection (SNPMB) and the Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) pathway.
The opening of the SNBP pathway provides a golden opportunity for high-achieving students, both academically and non-academically, to pursue a top-tier vocational education at Polman Babel without taking a written test.
The SNBP itself is a national selection pathway that emphasizes students' track record of achievement during high school, including report card grades and other nationally recognized achievements.
When met in the office of the Head of Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation at Polman Babel, Somawardi, M.T., explained that the SNBP pathway is one of the government's strategies to attract quality prospective students from an early age.
"Through this SNBP pathway, Polman Babel is opening up the widest possible opportunities for outstanding students who have a strong interest and commitment to pursuing industry-based vocational education," he said.
He explained that national registration for the SNBP pathway for the SNBP pathway will be open from 03 to February 18, 2026, according to the schedule set by the central committee.
"Schools play a crucial role in this process, particularly in completing and finalizing the data of students who meet the eligible criteria," he said.
