Opening of NCC 2024 Babel State Polman, Higher Education Finalist Participants Prepare to Compete
Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) officially opened the 2024 National CAD CAM Competition (NCC) on Monday (14/10/2024), located in the Polman Babel Main Building Hall.
This competition presented 16 finalist universities from all over Indonesia who competed in skills in the fields of design and manufacturing technology.

The opening of this event was attended by the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., and Dr. Tomi Andianto, S.S.T., MM.Par and Nurul Intan Pratiwi, S.Sos., M.Si. representative from Bakorma.
The presence of these two figures increased the enthusiasm of the participants who had passed the preliminary round with full dedication.
A total of 48 participants competed in four categories, CADCAM Milling, 2D Drafting, 3D Modeling, and 3D Mechanical Animation.
On the first day, participants will compete in the CADCAM Milling and 2D Drafting categories, while the second day will test their creativity in the 3D Modeling and 3D Mechanical Animation categories.

In his speech, the Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, expressed his pride. "This competition is not just a competition, but also an opportunity for participants to improve their abilities in the field of industrial technology which continues to develop rapidly," he said.
He also expressed his appreciation to all parties involved, from the participating universities, the jury, to the committee team. "Contributions from each party are an important part of the success of this event," he added.
Made hopes that the participants' participation in the NCC will be an investment in their future.
"Hopefully this competition will be the first step for you to continue to develop and bring benefits to the nation," he hoped.

Chief Executive, Pristiansyah, M.Eng., said that NCC 2024 was a very meaningful moment for Polman Babel. "Through this event, our campus shows real results in encouraging innovation and expertise in the manufacturing sector," he said.
He also encouraged the participants who came to be champions in giving their best in each category. "This experience will take you further in the future," said Pristianyah enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, Dr. Tomi Andianto from Bakorma provided support to the finalists, emphasizing that they are the generation that will bring change in the future. "You are the hope of the nation, keep up your enthusiasm," he exclaimed.
With full support from various parties, it is hoped that the NCC in Polman Babel will not only become a competition venue, but also a meeting place for new ideas and innovations.
"This event provides new enthusiasm for all participants to continue to develop and contribute in the fields of technology and manufacturing," concluded Tomi Andianto.
