The Babel State Polman Antasena Team won 1st and 2nd place in the UBB Line Follower Robot Competition
The Antasena 1 and 2 teams from the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) managed to score brilliant achievements by winning 1st and 2nd place in the Line Follower competition held at Bangka Belitung University on Wednesday (11/09/2024). This competition was attended by participants from various well-known universities in Indonesia, becoming a place to demonstrate national robotics innovation skills.
With the theme "Develop Archipelago Technology to Dominate the Future and Achieve Victory," this competition challenges participants to present intelligent robots that are able to cross paths quickly and stably. The Antasena Polman Babel team not only met the challenge, but also dominated the podium with an impressive victory.
Antasena Team 1 consists of Rian Ardiansyah, Anugrah Al Hafidz, and Mahishya Darizqhi Dyah Saputri, while Team Antasena 2 consists of Muhammad Raihan As Shadqi, Muhammad Fathur Rozaki and Indri Dwi Agustin. Both teams showed extraordinary synergy, combining speed, accuracy and precision in controlling the robot which was the key to their success.
In this competition, participants are faced with a challenging track, testing the robot's ability to traverse the track with high accuracy. The Polman Babel team managed to beat competitors from other universities with the fastest time, making them worthy of the title of champion.
The announcement of Team Antasena's victory was made on Saturday (14/09/2024) and was welcomed with great joy by the entire Polman Babel academic community. This success confirms Polman Babel's position as one of the leading vocational education institutions in the field of robotics technology.
The Antasena Team supervisor, Indra Dwi Saputra, M.T., expressed his pride in the hard work and dedication shown by the students under his guidance. "This is the result of consistent effort and an unyielding spirit. This achievement makes Polman Babel proud and encourages students' spirit of innovation," he said.
It is hoped that the achievements achieved by the Antasena 1 and 2 Polman Babel Team will be an inspiration for other students to continue to innovate and work in the field of technology. "We hope that this success can encourage more students to be involved in technology development in the future," said Indra Dwi Saputra.
Catur Pebriandani, S.Tr.T., who acts as the team coach, also underlined the importance of preparation and teamwork. "We focused on improving the robot's performance with intensive testing. These results are the fruit of strong collaboration and intense training," he explained.
Rian Ardiansyah, as chairman of Polman Babel Robotics UKM, expressed his pride in the team's achievements. "This is an extraordinary experience for us. This victory is a great motivation to continue learning and developing skills in the field of robotics," he said.
This competition is not just a place to show off your achievements, but is also an opportunity for participants to share knowledge and expand their networks. "We learned a lot from this competition, both from a technical perspective and from experience competing nationally," added Rian Ardiansyah.
