Last Chance to Study at Polman Negeri Babel, Registration for new students through the Polman Babel Independent Path for the 2025/2026 Academic Year has opened, Registration period May 29–July 17, 2025.
The State Manufacturing Polytechnic of Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) has again opened opportunities for prospective new students through the independent pathway for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
Registration is open from may 29 to July 17, 2025, this is the last wave after the previous selection process through the SNBP and SNBT pathways was officially closed. The independent pathway is an alternative for students who have not passed the national selection or who want to choose Polman Babel as a place to continue their vocational higher education.
Deputy Director I of Polman Babel, Irwan, Ph.D., said that the independent pathway is a golden opportunity for prospective students who want to pursue industry-based vocational education in Bangka Belitung.
"Opening the door wide for the young generation who want to develop with Polman Babel," he added.
He explained that the independent selection system still maintains the principles of objectivity and transparency, prioritizing academic ability as well as the interests and talents of prospective students.
"Through the independent pathway, we maintain the quality of selection so that students are truly ready to enter the industrial world and make real contributions," he added.
Irwan also said that the study programs at Polman Babel are very relevant to the needs of today's workforce, starting from the Mechanical Engineering Department, the Electrical and Agricultural Industry Department to the Informatics and Business Department," he said.
According to him, those interested in the independent pathway usually come from various regions, not only from Bangka Belitung, but also from outside the province. This shows the appeal of Polman Babel as one of the leading vocational campuses.
