Competing in Palembang, Babel State Polman TRPL Students Successfully Become UI/UX Runners-Up
Students of the Software Engineering Study Program (TRPL) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) succeeded in achieving brilliant achievements in the UI/UX competition held by the Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang on Friday (13/09/2024).
The team consisting of Raihan Adi Pratama, Monika, and Abang Audric managed to beat competition from nine other universities and took home the 2nd place award.
This achievement shows the ability of Polman Babel students to compete on the regional stage, especially in the fields of technology and user interface design which are the focus of the competition. The Polman Babel team presented an innovative UI/UX design that was considered superior in terms of functionality and user experience.
One of the team members, Abang Audric, expressed his pride in this achievement when met on Friday (20/09/2024). "We are very grateful for the results we have achieved. Hard work and guidance from lecturers as well as the support of friends played a big role in this achievement," he said enthusiastically.
Abang Audric also added that this victory was a big motivation for them to continue learning and developing in the UI/UX field. "Hopefully in the future, we can continue to provide the best, not only in competitions but also in applications in the industrial world," he hoped.
Meanwhile, Supervisor Riki Afriansyah, M.T., expressed his pride in the achievements achieved by the students under his guidance. "They showed extraordinary dedication and hard work. This is proof that Polman Babel students have competencies that are able to compete at regional and even national levels," said Riki.
Riki also added that competition events like this are important for training student creativity and innovation. "It is hoped that this victory will be a stepping stone for other students to be braver in taking part in similar competitions and bring the campus to a good name." he said.
Polman Babel also gave high appreciation to the TRPL team. "In their statement, the campus emphasized that they continue to support students in developing competencies and skills, both in academic and non-academic fields," he added.
Apart from that, it is also hoped that this victory will encourage the enthusiasm of other Polman Babel students to continue to innovate and make achievements in various fields. "Competitions like this provide a great opportunity for students to hone their skills in accordance with the latest technological developments," he said
With the achievements achieved in this UI/UX competition, TRPL Polman Babel students proved that they not only excel academically, but are also able to compete in creative and innovative fields at a broader level.
"Success starts from every challenge, not from a comfort zone," emphasized Riki Afriansyah, M.T., as the supervisor, giving encouragement to the competition participants.
