Not Just About Finishing, Polman Negeri Babel Employees Enjoy Exciting Moments at UBB Run 2025
Active participation of Polman Negeri Babel employees in the UBB Run 5K as a form of support for a healthy lifestyle.
Four employees of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) took part in the UBB Run 2025 (5K) running event organized by the University of Bangka Belitung (UBB) on Sunday, (05/25/2025).
This event took a five-kilometer route with the start and finish points in the UBB Campus area, Balunijuk.
With great enthusiasm, the participants from Polman Babel consisting of lecturers and education staff united with hundreds of other runners from various agencies and communities.
Although not professional athletes, they performed with extraordinary enthusiasm, health and togetherness that knew no professional boundaries.
When met, Monday (05/26/2025) Samil, one of the Polman Babel education staff, said that participating in the activity was not to chase a champion, but more to participate in positive activities that were fun and full of enthusiasm," he said.
A similar thing was conveyed by Husman, a Polman Babel lecturer, who called his participation an extraordinary experience.
"This is not just a run. There is a spirit of togetherness, an energetic atmosphere, and we can meet many people from various backgrounds. It's really fun," he said.
Although they did not bring home the trophy, Husman continued, the spirit and value of togetherness that was felt was already a victory for the Polman Babel team," he said.
He also hopes that activities like this can become a routine agenda that is not only healthy, but also opens up space for interaction between academics and the general public," he said.
That Sunday morning ended with smiles and sweat of happiness. The four Polman Babel employees successfully completed the 5K route with great enthusiasm, making this event not only about the finish line, but about small steps towards a healthier and more harmonious lifestyle," he said.
