The Inauguration of the DWP Polman Negeri Babel was held in collaboration with PTN and LLDIKTI throughout Indonesia.
The management of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic for the 2024-2029 term was inaugurated online by the DWP of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The inauguration of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Board of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) for the 2024-2029 term took place online on Wednesday (August 20, 2025).
This inauguration event was not only for Polman Babel, but also for all 95 DWPs within the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and the Higher Education Institutions (LLDIKTI) throughout Indonesia. It aimed to improve the effectiveness of organizational coordination, strengthen the legality of the board, and strengthen synergy between DWPs nationally.
At Polman Babel, the inauguration was attended by approximately 20 new board members. The event was held on the second floor of the Joint Lecture Building via Zoom Meeting. The attendance demonstrated the enthusiasm of the board members to continue the DWP's role on campus.
In her remarks, Indah Tagor, Chairwoman of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, emphasized the importance of the DWP as a strategic partner in supporting her husband's duties and making tangible contributions to the social, educational, and cultural sectors.
"The Dharma Wanita Persatuan must be able to become a solid platform, a place for creativity, and a space for togetherness for all its members so they can be more active and innovative in implementing work programs," she said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Polman Babel, Yang Fitri Arriyani, M.T., expressed her gratitude for the inauguration held on campus, adding that it would serve as a starting point for strengthening solidarity among the wives of Polman Babel employees.
"Furthermore, this inauguration further strengthens our spirit to support, strengthen, and strengthen our unity. God willing, the Polman Babel DWP will provide tangible benefits in the future," she concluded.
Furthermore, Yang Fitri urged the Polman Babel DWP management to always adhere to the policy direction of the DWP Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. This way, the programs designed will align with the organization's vision and mission at the central level.
"In addition to fostering togetherness, the Polman Babel DWP also targets the implementation of various positive activities, ranging from social activities and family education to skills development. This is expected to improve the quality of its members' roles in supporting the Polman Babel family," she explained.
With this inauguration, the Polman Babel Dharma Wanita Persatuan is optimistic that it will grow as a solid, harmonious, and productive organization. "The full support from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology will further strengthen the DWP's efforts to create programs that benefit all members," she said.
