The academic community of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic participated in a socialization session on the Use and Management of State Assets (BMN) held at the Joint Lecture Building on Thursday (February 12, 2026) to raise awareness and responsibility among all campus elements regarding state assets used in educational activities.
The socialization session was attended by lecturers, educational staff, and students. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the beginning, as BMN management is a crucial part of supporting transparent and accountable campus governance.
Muhammad Nur Hidayat, M.M., an academic and practitioner in the fields of development economics, public policy, and state asset management, presented comprehensive material on the regulations and practices of BMN management within government agencies.

Without further ado, Deputy Director II of Polman Babel, Muhammad Subhan, M.T., emphasized the importance of this activity in his remarks. "A good understanding of BMN management will have a direct impact on the quality of institutional governance. This socialization is crucial for us to understand how to properly maintain and care for state assets," he explained.
He also added that all employees and students must have a sense of responsibility and ownership for state assets.
"Use and care for campus facilities as we would our own belongings at home," he said.
In his presentation, the speaker, Muhammad Nur Hidayat, stated that every employee is required to understand the regulations regarding BMN management, as stipulated in Government Regulation Number 27 of 2014 in conjunction with Government Regulation Number 28 of 2020. "These regulations serve as the legal basis for the orderly, efficient, and accountable management of state assets," he said.
"Therefore, he explained that state asset management is not limited to usage, but also encompasses planning for needs, utilization, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting. With a sound system, state assets can provide maximum benefits to the community," he added.
