Not Just a Final Assignment, the Polman Negeri Babel Student Website is Officially Used by Pemali Village
The official website of Pemali Village, a final project by students in the Applied Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) program at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic, was officially launched by the Pemali Village Government on Thursday (May 21, 2026).
The website was created by Septiandi Hermawan, a student, as part of his final academic project, which focused on developing a digital-based village information system, drawing on learning outcomes from the best universities in Bangka Belitung, that could be directly applied to village needs.

During the development process, Septiandi Hermawan received guidance from his supervisors, Ahmat Josi, M.Kom., and Tri Agusti Farma, M.Kom. Both actively provided academic and technical guidance from the design and system development stages to website implementation.
When contacted, Pemali Village Head Abdul Aziz confirmed that the official website, developed by Polman Babel students, is now being used to support information dissemination and various administrative needs, as well as to streamline information and various other needs in Pemali Village.
Aziz explained that the presence of this digital platform brings new convenience to the village government in conveying information to the public, from activity publications and announcements to village information that can now be accessed more quickly and conveniently.
"Thank God, this website allows any information in Pemali Village to be published to the public, making access to information easier," he said.
The Pemali Village Government also plans to further develop the website by adding several new features to make it more attractive, adaptive, and able to meet community needs.
"We are currently testing additional features on the website, identifying items that are interesting and worth developing," he concluded.
Meanwhile, supervising lecturer Ahmat Josi, M.Kom., stated that this project illustrates how academic learning outcomes can be translated into direct benefits for the community, so that students' final projects are not only part of their studies but also contribute to supporting information technology-based village development," he emphasized.
Josi added that the launch of the website is an important milestone in modernizing village governance. The presence of a digital platform is expected to facilitate the public's access to various information related to village profiles, activity news, administrative services, development programs, and other public information quickly, accurately, and transparently.
